WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The idea is stronger than materials. It doesn't matter about the type of products that are used: 
if an idea is good soars anyway. 
This BIP edition's theme is Leonardo's flying machines. 
Much with little. And 'this is what we seek in your ideas. 
The BIP offers the opportunity for young artists, designers, 
students and enthusiasts around the globe, to show  to the world 
their creations in the exhibition spaces in the ElettroWave 2010 Festival. 
We are looking for love in design, new ideas and much enthusiasm. 
Projects should be the final work of the of the proposer. Not vague ideas. Real projects, which may significantly enrich Elettrowave and actively involve public. 
We are looking for innovative projects, in which passion could make the difference. 
Interactive installations, audio projects and / or visual, environments, etc.. 
The clubbing is the context, not the subject of the BIP. 
If the project is, at the moment of subscription , still in an early stage we ask you for something demostratingh that will be finished in time for the exhibition at the festival. 
Remember that the projects should endure 2 nights of intensive use, in 
an indoor space crowded by thousands of people. Consider then 
their feasibility in relation to the context and all the possible limitations in 
construction.

SUBMISSIONS
Submissions open to (interaction) designers, artists, researchers, 
architects and students from around the world. 
Participation is free.

DEADLINE
All projects must be received by May 10, 2010. 
Projects submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. Participants 
should ensure the originality and authorship of the project sent. 
The list of selected projects will be published on the site of BIP / 
Elettrowave and published in a press release by the end of May.

PROJECT SELECTION
The selected projects will be presented during Elettrowave 2010 
(23/24 July) and will remain available to the public during all 
festival: a valuable opportunity to test your project 
interactively in the context of a festival of electronic music. 
BIP does not have large resources. 
The total budget will be divided among the projects selected, depending on 
the needs of production, transportation and installation. 
We will also cover travel expenses and hospitality for the authors of the 
selected projects. Equipment and technologies in common use 
(projectors, screens, sound systems, monitors, mixers, etc..) will also 
available if required.

SUBMISSIONS
The subscription form, and all instructions for sending the projectl is 
available  online.
The form must be completed in all its parts. 
Not conform material will be refused. 
The material received will be included in the archives of the festival and wont 
be returned.
Each participant can bring a maximum of 2 projects. 
Groups of people will have to register with one name.

COPYRIGHT
All rights and intellectual property of the project is only of 
designer. By entering the competition, designers provide a BIP 
the right to publish and promote, in whole or in part, the project 
sent, without further authorization and notice, and without 
pay any compensation to the author. 
BIP assumes that the projects submitted is original and that the paternity of 
ideas both of the participant. BIP could not be considered responsible in case of 
violation of copyrights of third parties, including (but not 
limited to) claims of copyright, trademarks, violations 
patent. BIP  also assumed that all images and materials 
audiovisual included in the project, are free of any copyright of 
third parties. BIP will publish all of author references of 
photographic and audiovisual materials, if included.

COSA CERCHIAMO?
L'idea è più forte dei materiali. Non conta il tipo di prodotti che si usano: se un'idea è buona spicca il volo comunque. Il tema di questa edizione di BIP sono le macchine volanti di Leonardo. Tanto con poco. E' questo ciò che cerchiamo nelle vostre idee.
Il BIP di quest'anno offre la possibilità a giovani artisti, progettisti, studenti e appassionati di tutto il pianeta di mostrare al mondo le proprie creazioni all'interno degli spazi espositivi dell'ElettroWave 2010. Cerchiamo amore per il design, nuove idee e tanto entusiasmo.
I progetti dovranno essere la realizzazione finale della creatività del proponente. Non idee vaghe. Progetti reali, che possano arricchire significativamente Elettrowave e coinvolgere attivamente il pubblico.
Stiamo cercando progetti innovativi, in cui la passione faccia la differenza.
Installazioni interattive, progetti audio e/o visivi, ambienti, etc. Il clubbing è il contesto, non la materia di BIP. Se il progetto al momento dell’invio è a uno stadio iniziale, verrà preso in considerazione solo se sarai in grado di provare che verrà sicuramente prodotto entro la scadenza del festival. Ricorda che i progetti dovranno resistere a 2 notti di uso intenso, in uno spazio indoor affollato da migliaia di persone. Considera quindi la fattibilità in relazione al contesto e tutte le possibili limitazioni di allestimento.

CHI PUO’ PARTECIPARE?
La partecipazione è  aperta a (interaction) designers, artisti, ricercatori, architetti e studenti di tutto il mondo.
La partecipazione è  gratuita.

SCADENZA PER L'INVIO DEI PROGETTI
Tutti i progetti dovranno essere inviati entro il 10 Maggio 2010.
I progetti inviati dopo la scadenza non saranno accettati. I partecipanti dovranno garantire l’originalità e la paternità del progetto inviato. L’elenco dei progetti selezionati verrà pubblicato sul sito di BIP/Elettrowave e diffuso con un comunicato stampa entro la fine di maggio
2010.

PROGETTI SELEZIONATI
I progetti selezionati verranno presentati durante Elettrowave 2010 (23/24 luglio) e resteranno a disposizione del pubblico per tutta la durata del festival: una preziosa opportunità per testare il tuo progetto interattivo nel contesto di un festival di musica elettronica.
BIP non dispone di grandi risorse economiche. Il budget complessivo verrà  diviso tra i progetti selezionati, a seconda delle necessità di produzione, trasporto e installazione.
Verranno inoltre coperte le spese di trasferta e ospitalità per gli autori dei progetti selezionati. Apparecchiature e tecnologie di uso comune (videoproiettori, schermi, sistemi audio, monitor, mixer ecc.) saranno disponibili per i progetti selezionati, se richiesti.

ISCRIZIONE
Il form di iscrizione, insieme alle istruzioni per l’invio del materiale, è disponibile per la compilazione online
Il form dovrà essere compilato in tutte le sue parti. Il materiale inviato non conforme al regolamento sarà rifiutato. I materiali inviati verranno inseriti negli archivi del festival e non
saranno restituiti. Il materiale inviato non conforme al regolamento sarà rifiutato senza possibilità di ricorso. 
Ogni materiale ricevuto non sarà restituito. Ogni partecipante potrà  proporre un massimo di 2 progetti. I gruppi di persone dovranno registrarsi con un solo nome.

CONFORMITÛ  DEL MATERIALE INVIATO E COPYRIGHT
Ogni diritto e proprietà  intellettuale del progetto è esclusivamente del progettista. Partecipando al concorso, i designer garantiscono a BIP il diritto di pubblicare e promuovere, in tutto o in parte, il progetto inviato senza necessità  di ulteriore autorizzazione e preavviso, e senza
corrispondere alcun compenso all’autore. BIP assume che i progetti inviati siano originali e che la paternità delle idee sia del partecipante. BIP non è da ritenersi perciò responsabile della violazione dei diritti d’autore di terze parti, inclusi (ma non limitati a) rivendicazioni di copyright, marchi registrati, violazioni di brevetto. BIP presume inoltre che tutte le immagini e i materiali audiovisivi inclusi nel progetto siano liberi da ogni diritto d’autore di terze parti. BIP pubblicherà  gli eventuali riferimenti dell’autore di tali materiali fotografici e audiovisivi, se inclusi.
